Neil serves as 2020 National Metro Director for JCI USA, helping to start new chapters across our nation and assisting chapters in larger towns and cities. Neil also serves on the International level as a member of the JCI Global Advocacy Committee which leads efforts to promote JCI’s advocacy campaigns such as Peace is Possible, One America (focusing on education standards) and our new cancer campaign.

Neil joined his local chapter of Santa Clarita, California in 2012 after moving to the US from the UK for a job opportunity at Princess Cruises. Neil quickly jumped in and became a Community Manager before becoming President in 2013 and 2014.

During his time as President, Neil led efforts to restructure the chapters organization to help empower more members to have board opportunities. Neil worked with many members to revitalize their SCV 40 Under Forty program, securing a new media partner and growing the size of the committee and events.

Neil was recognized as his local chapter’s Jaycee of the Year for 2013, 2014 and 2015 while he won several awards at the State level including President of the Year for 2014 and the chapter winning Chapter of the Year. Neil worked with his team to help grow the chapter membership both years he was President and to empower members to bring in new project ideas such as a Cancer Beautify Day, a technology drive for local income families and expanding out their Santa’s Helpers Appeal to help more nonprofits.

In 2014 Neil served as the California State Marketing Manager, 2015 Executive Vice President and State President in 2016. During in time at the state level, Neil focused on improving marketing and communication within the state and overall 3 new chapters started.

Neil joined the JCI USA Executive Team in 2017 as a National Vice President, served in 2018 as JCI USA 1st ever Chapter Development Director where he helped to charter 23 new chapters and in 2019 joined the International team as Americas Development Council Commissioner, focusing on helping national organizations with membership growth and development. Neil also went back to his roots in 2019 and served as Santa Clarita Executive Vice President so he could gain a fresh perspective of what it is like to serve on the local level, while levering his experience to help the chapter he calls home.

Outside of JCI, Neil serves as a board member for the Valley Industry Association (VIA), has served on the board of Child and Family Center and Single Mothers Outreach and has volunteered for numerous good causes in the Santa Clarita Valley and Los Angeles County Region. Neil was nominated for Santa Clarita Valley Man of the Year in 2018 and won the SCV 40 Under Forty in 2013 and in 2014 was recognized by the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce of being a Volunteer of the Year in his community.

Professionally, Neil works as a Pricing and Revenue Manager for Princess Cruises, overseeing a team of analysts. He won Princess’s Above and Beyond Employee of the Month Award in 2017 and in 2014 won their Teamwork Award. In the UK Neil served as a City Council Member for Southampton City Council from 2008 – 2012. Neil graduated from the University of Southampton, a Russell Group school in 2004 with a Bachelors in History.

To relax, Neil likes travelling, watching West Ham United (soccer), LA Dodgers (don’t mention the 2017 World Series), LA Kings and the Green Bay Packers (GoPackGo).
